1. Warranty Coverage
What’s covered:

All Discovery-branded products purchased via our official website or authorised UAE retailers are covered against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase.

Standard coverage: 2 years (24 months) from invoice date for most backpacks, luggage and travel gear, unless specifically indicated otherwise on the product page or packaging.

Some premium collections may carry an extended warranty—this will be clearly stated at the time of purchase.
2. What’s Not Covered
The warranty does not apply to:

Normal wear and tear (scuffs, fading, minor abrasions)

Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or use outside normal travel and outdoor purposes

Damage caused during shipment by carriers (e.g., airlines) or use of third-party repair/alteration
-
Damage due to exposure to extreme conditions (heat, sand, salt water) beyond what the product is designed for, unless stated
-
Cosmetic changes (colour change, surface wear) that do not affect function
3. How to Claim / Repair Process

Retain your original invoice or proof of purchase — this is required to validate your warranty.

Contact our Customer Service (email / WhatsApp / phone) with: order number, product details (model/serial if applicable), description of the defect and photos.

We will assess the claim and, if approved, either repair or replace the item at no cost. In rare cases, if repair/replacement is not viable, we will issue a comparable product or refund the purchase price.

For warranty repair or replacement, products must be shipped or brought (if local) in suitable protective packaging. Discovery is not responsible for transit damage caused by improper packaging.

After warranty period expires, we can still assist with paid repair services — we’ll provide an estimate, and you may choose to proceed.
4. Repair Turnaround & Conditions

Repair times will vary depending on severity of issue and parts availability; we will provide an estimated timeframe once your claim is accepted.

In the event the same defect recurs three times within the warranty period, we reserve the right to replace the item rather than attempt further repeat repairs.

Any repair or replacement under warranty does not restart or extend the original warranty period.
5. Service Locations & Territory

Warranty service is available in the UAE for products purchased here or through authorised UAE retailers.

If the product was purchased outside the UAE or through unauthorised channels, warranty may be void or subject to different terms.

Discovery reserves the right to direct the item to an authorised repair centre.
6. Customer Responsibilities

Use the product in accordance with the care instructions provided (avoid abusive loads, oversized items, misuse)

Keep the product clean and maintained — failure to maintain may be considered misuse.

Notify issues promptly — delays in reporting may affect eligibility.

If shipping the product for service: pack it securely; damage caused during transit due to customer packaging is not covered.
7. Liability & Additional Terms

This warranty is in addition to the rights and remedies you may have under UAE consumer protection laws.

Discovery’s liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the product itself and does not cover incidental or consequential losses.

Any repair performed by third-party non-authorised service providers may void the warranty.
